As I walked into the retirement community this morning, I was reminded of how Remembrance Day affects people in so many different ways. I asked one gentleman if he was going to attend the ceremony? He replied “I will celebrate in my own way”… At first I thought he was being cheeky, but he really meant that Remembrance Day means something different to him. What I loved 🥰 was his genuine authenticity in his response. The lady that I spend much time with, requires I meet her
